Monocle Australia
New Initiative was engaged to lead the PR and communications strategy for Monocle Chairman Tyler Brûlé and Design Editor Nic Monisse’s impromptu market trip to Australia in November of 2024.
As leaders in design, urbanism, and global culture, their visit offered a unique opportunity to review how Australia’s design, innovation and travel sector are viewed globally and via the Monocle perspective on quality of life, liveable cities, urban development, design, and soft power.
The editor’s visit was anchored to Sydney and Melbourne, both of which featured in Monocle’s 20 Most Liveable Cities ranking for 2024 and culminated in a private event hosted for the brand’s subscriber, editorial, commercial and media network.
