Le Royale

Bringing a new era of cultured fun to the Brisbane CBD after hours, Le Royale redefines what the Brisbane late-night experience is. A place where the liquor is strong, the spirits are high and the live music lifts the energy.  New Initiative led the PR and communications strategy for Le Royale by Anyday which opened in the heritage site at 169 Mary Street, Brisbane in February 2026. 

Designed by Tamsin Johnson, Le Royale is rich with character – radiating with confidence and conviviality driven by the playful energy of the live jazzband. With the Francophile influence radiating upwards from The French Exit on the ground floor reflected in the menu and the jazz-soaked, vibrant atmosphere. 

The opening marks a continuation of Anyday’s significant expansion within the heart of the Brisbane CBD, fortifying a purposeful step forward and commitment to bringing their style of vibrant, spontaneous and warm hospitality into the central business district. 

Le Royale joins an iconic stable of venues consisting Agnes, sAme sAme, LOS Bar, hôntô, Biànca, Idle, Golden Avenue and The French Exit by the Brisbane-based collective, founded by Tyron Simon, Frank Li, Bianca Marchi-Simon and Ben Williamson. 

Their commitment to innovation, curiosity and excellence has earned them local and international acclaim, winning Australia’s Restaurant of the Year in 2023 and receiving recognition from The World’s 50 Best Discovery for Agnes Restaurant.
